ABOUT ME
Hi!
I’m Tracy Paulotte, a Montreal-based event producer and business operations consultant specializing in entertainement, music & culture.
I’ve spent the last eight years at the intersection of arts, media, and cultural organizations, combining production, programming, and strategic oversight to support the development of large-scale cultural initiatives.
A multi-hyphenate cultural professional, my recent work includes serving as event lead for the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and leading the launch event for the Radio-Canada / ICI TOU.TV web series Grimelle, delivering a sold-out immersive audience experience.
Lately, I’ve also collaborated with production partners to bring internationally recognized musicians such as Grammy Award–winning drummer Larnell Lewis and acclaimed bassist Kemy Siala to Montreal for exclusive industry masterclasses.
Both artists are recognized for their work with major global acts including Tyla, Charlotte Day Wilson, Drake, Quincy Jones, and Lalah Hathaway.
Previously, I served as Head of Programs and Outreach at Fondation Dynastie, one of Quebec’s leading cultural institutions dedicated to Black excellence in the arts and media sector, known for its flagship annual gala recognizing influential Black creatives and professionals.
In this role, I’ve led the development of multiple programs, panels, and entrepreneurship initiatives supporting Black creatives across Quebec, while working closely with institutions such as Musicaction, the Conseil des Arts de Montréal, ADVANCE Music Canada, and the École Nationale de l’Humour.
This experience provided direct insight into how cultural policy, funding structures, and institutional decision-making shape creative ecosystems.
Knowledge accessibility being at the core of my work, I’ve also maintained a four-year workshop residency with the DESTA Black Youth Network, where I delivered workshops on creative entrepreneurship and cultural career development for Black youth.
In parallel, I am an active speaker, moderator, and facilitator, having participated in panels and events hosted by institutions including HEC Montréal, Université du Québec à Montréal and École de Technologie Supérieure.
Finally, I’ve contributed to advisory and committee work with organizations such as Mcgill University, Jeune Chambre de Commerce de Montréal, Gala Fréquence and Gala Influence Création.
Today, I leverage all that "business backend" knowledge to provide the structure that turns creative momentum into a solid, predictable business that can grow.
This work is backed by my studies in Business Administration (B.B.A.) at the Université du Québec à Montréal and a certificate in Human Resources Management, on top of accreditations from Main Film and L'Inis in Film/TV Production Management.
